MasterChef India Is Back

MasterChef India Is Back
it takes you on a never-seen-before gastronomical journey and brings a change in the way India perceives cooks and presents food. But there is already one change…no Akshay Kumar. Akshay hosted the show last season, but isn’t a part of MasterChef India 2. We wonder why he isn’t on; he could have drawn an interesting mix of viewers. Akshay got great TRPs with Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 4. And he has a genuine love for food. That makes a big difference.

So why has he given this season a miss? Did the makers decide if other editions could do well without any star support, the Indian edition should do well too? Or is Akshay too busy resurrecting his failing Bollywood career? Chef Vikas Khanna, who has authored several cookery books, runs a restaurant in New York and a catering business, replaces Akshay now.
