Health Tips For Kids

Health Tips For Kids
It is important to encourage breakfast. A good night’s sleep followed by food in the morning helps your child to stay active and concentrate at school. It also means your child is less likely to be too hungry during the morning and it can help with performance at school. Be a role model and let your child see you eat breakfast too. Many more children in the United States are being diagnosed with high cholesterol, or as overweight or obese. These conditions can cause many health problems for your child, such as diabetes and high blood pressure. You don't have to give up foods like hamburgers, french fries and ice cream to eat healthy. You just have to be smart about how often and how much of them you eat. Your body needs nutrients like protein, carbohydrates, fat and many different vitamins and minerals such as vitamins C and A, iron and calcium from a variety of foods.the biggest mistake some parents execute is thinking that being cooped up inside the house is better for the kids. They turn the television into some sort of babysitter for the child. You do not want your child to become a couch potato at such a young age. Kids have all this energy that’s supposed to be spent playing and finding out more about the world. If they don’t spend that energy, it becomes grand. And having a bulky child does not necessarily equal to having a healthy child. Try to wait on play and even sports for your kids.
